Makeup Artist and Hairstylist in Cheltenham
Makeup artist and hairstylist based in Cheltenham, working with brides and clients across the town, the wider Gloucestershire countryside and the Cotswolds.

Makeup and hair in Cheltenham
Cheltenham is where I am based, so it is the one area where I cover everything: weddings, one-off occasions and private lessons. Occasion appointments, lessons and bridal trials happen at my studio, and for weddings I come to you.

Bridal makeup and hair
A trial at my studio first, then the wedding morning itself, for you and your bridal party. On the day I come to you, whether that is a house in Montpellier or a suite at the Queens, and bring everything I need with me.

Special occasion makeup
Race week, black tie, christenings, milestone birthdays and the Literature and Jazz festival parties. A single appointment, at home, at your hotel, or at my studio.
Lessons and masterclasses
One to one, for beginners and for anyone who wants to stop buying the wrong things. We work with your own kit, your own face and your own routine, at my studio or at your own dressing table.
Cheltenham wedding venues
I work for myself and I am not attached to any venue or on anyone's approved supplier list. This is simply where I have worked in and around Cheltenham.
I come to wherever you are getting ready, whether that is a hotel suite, your parents' front room, a barn or a field.

Getting ready in Cheltenham
A clear, stress-free process from initial contact to your last dance.
1
I come to you
Hotel suite, family home or the venue's own bridal cottage. I bring everything, including my own lighting, so a dark Regency bedroom is never a problem.
2
Timings
I build the running order backwards from your ceremony time and send it to you in advance, so you know exactly who is in the chair and when. As a guide it is about an hour a person for hair and makeup together, and a little longer for you, with time set aside for photographs of the dress going on. We finish with room to spare.
3
The trial
Two to three hours at my studio in Cheltenham, exploring up to two variations, with a questionnaire beforehand and photographs of the finished look afterwards. By the end the look is settled and written down, so the wedding morning is a repeat of something you have already seen on yourself.
4
How many I can cover
Up to five of you on my own, including the bride. For a larger party, or where the ceremony time leaves less room, I bring a second makeup artist or hairstylist, arranged in advance at £50 so the morning stays unhurried.
5
Parking and access
I know how the Promenade and Montpellier hotels handle loading, how the Pump Room is reached through Pittville Park, and how race week affects the roads around Prestbury Park. It is all worked out before the day, so none of it becomes something you have to think about.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I book a makeup consultation in Cheltenham?
My studio is in Cheltenham, and for weddings and events I come to you. Send me your date through the enquiry form and I will come back to you within 24 hours.
Do you travel to venues around Cheltenham?
Yes. Cheltenham, Bishop's Cleeve, Winchcombe and the villages in between are my home ground, and on the morning I come to you. A travel fee may apply depending on how far your venue is from Cheltenham, and I confirm the exact figure with your quote before you book.
How far in advance should I book a wedding makeup trial?
Get in touch as soon as you have the date. Saturdays between May and September are the first to fill, so most brides book nine to twelve months ahead. The trial itself usually sits six to eight weeks before the wedding, once the dress and your hair length are settled.
Do you offer makeup lessons in Cheltenham for beginners?
Yes. Lessons are one to one and built around your own features, colouring and lifestyle. You leave with practical techniques, guidance on colours and application, and a product list you can actually shop from.
How should I prepare my skin before my wedding day?
Keep it simple and start early. Settle on your skincare around three months out rather than trying something new close to the day, book any facial at least two weeks before, and drink more water than you think you need in the final fortnight. On the morning itself, clean and moisturised skin and nothing else. We go through all of it at the trial.
