Weddings are most of my work across the county, and I take special occasion bookings and teach privately alongside them.
Bridal makeup and hair
A trial at my studio first, then the wedding morning itself, for you and your bridal party. On the day I come to the house, the hotel or the venue's own bridal cottage with everything I need, and work to a running order agreed in advance so you finish last and unhurried.
Special occasion makeup
Balls, black tie, christenings and milestone birthdays anywhere in the county. A single appointment, wherever you are getting ready, or at my studio in Cheltenham if that is easier.
Lessons and masterclasses
One to one, at your own dressing table or at my studio in Cheltenham. We work with your own kit and your own face rather than a professional kit you will never own, so you leave able to repeat it yourself.
Gloucestershire wedding venues

I come to you
The house, the hotel, the venue's own bridal cottage or a barn with no mirror in it. I bring everything including my own lighting, so the room you are in is never the limiting factor.

Timings
I work the running order backwards from your ceremony time and send it to you in advance, so everyone knows when they are needed. As a guide, about an hour a person for hair and makeup together and a little longer for you, with time set aside for photographs of the dress going on.

The trial
Two to three hours at my studio in Cheltenham, exploring up to two variations, with a questionnaire beforehand and photographs of the finished look afterwards. By the end the look is settled and written down.

How many I can cover
Up to five of you on my own, including the bride. For a larger party, or where the ceremony time leaves less room, I bring a second makeup artist or hairstylist, arranged in advance at £50 so the morning stays calm.

Travel and fees
On the morning I come to you, from Gloucester, Tewkesbury and Winchcombe down through Stroud and Cirencester to Berkeley, Thornbury and the Forest of Dean. A travel fee may apply depending on the distance from Cheltenham. I work the figure out and confirm it with your quote, so the price you agree is the price you pay.

Do you cover Gloucester as well as Cheltenham?
Yes. Gloucester is a short run from Cheltenham, and weddings at Highnam Court, Hatherley Manor and Elmore Court are well inside the area I work in most weeks. Any travel fee is confirmed with your quote.
How early do you arrive on the wedding morning?
Early enough that nothing is rushed and we finish with time to spare. I work the schedule backwards from your ceremony time, allowing about an hour a person for hair and makeup together and a little longer for you, then send it to you in advance so you know exactly how the morning runs.
How many bridesmaids can you do hair and makeup for?
Up to five people in total, including you, on my own. Beyond that, or where the ceremony time is tight, a second artist joins me for £50 and we work through the party in half the time.
Do you charge for travel within Gloucestershire?
